Finding a teacher

Arc Education (/learn) lists tutors, music and language teachers, exam-prep and sports coaches, and driving instructors. Anyone who teaches children only appears once their background check is on file.

Teaching on Arc

Set up a provider profile from Teach on Arc. Pick your subject, set your rate and area, and you're listed. Running a class or course for a group? List it as an Event instead and take bookings up front.

Background checks for teaching children

If you teach children, Arc requires an enhanced background check on file before your listing goes live. Parents see the check as a plain, dated fact from the issuing body — Arc never calls anyone "safe" or "trusted". If a check lapses, new bookings stop.

Getting paid

Learners pay when they book; the money is held and released to your wallet after the lesson is confirmed complete. Arc takes 5% on completed lessons, with no per-lead fees.
